Wipro has been selected for a 10-year deal by Carillion, a UK-based company that does a lot of public-private partnership projects.
As a part of this deal, Wipro will be the only preferred global strategic partner to provide integrated IT and BPO services. Wipro, however, did not mention the value of the deal but added that as part of the 10-year deal, it will deliver operational and cost efficiency to Carillion through its outsourcing services.
The engagement covers Carillion's IT infrastructure and applications, Human Resources and Finance and Accounting BPO services, the company said in a statement.
Carillion operates across multiple industry sectors in the UK, Middle East and Canada, providing solutions which include project finance, design, construction and support services.
