“We are interested in government sector projects, from post-typhoon reconstructions to regular power lines and telecom cabling throughout the Philippines,” said Riki Nishimura, General Manager of Visual Security Solutions, Professional Solutions Company (PSAP) at Sony Electronics Asia Pacific.

The devastation by typhoon Yolanda has revealed just how pressing it is for the Philippines to build more durable infrastructures such as pavement roads and telecom networks to improve the quality of life for residents in this natural disaster-prone country. Sony is confident to provide the most suitable IP surveillance solutions as valuable integrals for improving the management of infrastructures.

“The Philippines has been a key market for Sony. In the recent years, more people in the Philippines can afford IP solutions. Therefore, we are positive that Sony is onto more than 10% growth in the Philippines,” said Nishimura.

He added that Sony works closely with their local channel partners to deliver customized solutions catering to the specific needs of each project.
