Formed in 2000, Kelington is a leading ultrahigh purity gas and chemical delivery solutions provider with operations in Malaysia, China, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Group chairman and CEO Raymond Gan said the firm remains optimistic of securing Taiwan Biodiesel's RM35 million (US$10.6 million) contract by next month.

Total contracts that could be secured next year is RM200 million ($60.7 million), including the current jobs. The value of these contracts are 37% higher than the expected RM146 million ($44.3 million) secured this year.

Gan said the company will continue to solidify its position as the leading Malaysian ultra-high purity engineering system solution provider.

“We have started ultra-high purity skills to extend our reach into the healthcare, bioscience, and pharmaceutical industries. By extending our core skills into these areas, we will be able to dampen the effects of the semiconductor industry's downturn.

“Our recent success in securing the $46 million healthcare-related project from Kang Hui Maternity Center in Shanghai is a case in point,”

It has also diversified into the areas of system design and modelling, fabrication and installation, quality testing and certification, control and instrumentation, and maintenance for various foundries.
