US soft drink company Coca-Cola wants to build more factories to satisfy the growing demand in Myanmar as the two existing factories currently in operation are not enough, according to the company officials, Eleven Myanmar reported.

The company plans to extend its production lines to Mandalay and upper Myanmar. It has already built 2 factories jointly with Pinya, a local soft drink company active in townships such as Hmawbi and Hlaing Tharya, and began recently bottling two of its flagship brands – Coca-Cola and Sprite which are now on the market.
Pinya Manufacturing Co. Ltd., a leading soft drink and beverage maker in Myanmar has already sold hundreds of millions of soft drink bottles, according to the beverages market reports.

Coca-Cola officially began distributing the two brands in Myanmar starting from July 2013. The giant soft-drink producer recently re-entered the country for after more than 60 years of absence.
