Merit LILIN has enjoyed continuous growth in ASEAN due to market boom and support from local exclusive partners. Our new cost-effective L series has been a catalyst factor in winning numerous government projects and cases this year. “We already have a strong foothold in Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia, and will focus more on other burgeoning economies such as Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Bangladesh and verticals such as traffic monitoring and solution based industrial sector in 2014," said Pema Lin, Regional Sales Manager for Asia Region, Merit LILIN.

Overall, general consensus is that ASEAN market is migrating to IP thus turning the 60/40 analog-to-IP ratio. In countries, such as Indonesia, the analog-to-IP ratio is 70/30 as the traditional mindset of trading or box moving is not enough, especially in this IP-migration period. “Providing one-stop and holistic solutions plus timely post sale support locally makes all the difference,” added Lin. “That's what we have been doing. We hold IT training and seminars at least 3 times a year. We are also enhancing our customer services by offering 24-hour service in order to achieve a truly ASEAN presence.”
