Savant has announced updates of seamless compatibility between Savant smart home ecosystem and the Google Home assistant speech-recognition engine. Introducing the Savant Pro Remote, homeowners can activate a Savant Scene, choose a favorite channel or select a source within their entertainment system, all with Google voice support. Savant’s Google Home support is available now.
The new Savant/Google compatibility will give consumers the ultimate smart home experience. Users can trigger Savant Scenes to control any and all of their smart home features quickly and easily, adjusting entertainment, lighting, climate controls, TVs, shading and much more with a single voice command.
Setup is intuitive. Users can create a Savant Scene, enable the Savant Action with the Google Assistant or Google Home App and link their account. Google will discover Savant as an Action that can be easily accessed via voice command. Interfacing with Savant’s groundbreaking scene engine that captures personalized automation events, consumers can initiate, schedule, edit or delete a Savant Scene while retaining seamless Google voice functionality. Savant’s Google interface is based upon cloud-to-cloud communication between the two services, leveraging Savant’s secure cloud infrastructure.
