VIZO Technology builds its WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch using the Ayla IoT platform
Taiwan’s VIZO Technology, a manufacturer and designer of computer peripheral products, recently unveiled the WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch. It can talk to the smartphone as well other connected third-party gadgets at home.

The smart switch serves as a one-key control for connected lights and other IoT products in a smart home, all through a user-friendly mobile app. The new solution is built on the IoT platform created by Ayla Networks.

The WISCON Wi-Fi wireless smart switch panel boast a fashionable well-designed appearance and features an LED-embedded status indicator.

With its enterprise-class IoT PaaS platform, Ayla provided WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch with the embedded agents, IoT cloud service, mobile app software service and extensible security, said Henry Ho, general manager of VIZO Technology.

Taiwanese manufacturers have substantial global presence, and the “Productivity 4.0” initiative heralded by the government aims to redefine the value of the manufacturing industry by leveraging Taiwan’s strength in communications technology, said David Friedman, CEO and co-founder of Ayla Networks.

“We can facilitate the development, support and continual improvement of IoT products of Taiwan’s manufacturing industry, including the new WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch,” Friedman added.

VIZO Technology officially debut the WISCON Wi-Fi smart switch at Ayla’s CES 2017 Booth.

Ayla Networks says it empowers manufacturers by simplifying the complexity of the IoT, enabling them to turn their products into smart connected systems and transform their businesses. Delivered as a cloud platform-as-a-service (PaaS), Ayla’s IoT platform provides the flexibility and modularity to enable rapid changes to practically any type of device, cloud or app environment, the company said.
