Lenovo has formed a smart home arm called Lecoo and introduced four new products. Lecoo aims to represent the consumer IoT portion of Lenovo with hardware and related cloud services. Its first four products consist of one smart router, one baby monitor and two security cameras.

The Lecoo Smart Router features four Skyworks signal antennas, dual-band Wi-Fi and 1200 Mbps speed with 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The device is equipped with dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and 32MB of storage.

The Lecoo Baby Monitor is said to be able to capture expressions on a baby and automatically record the moments. The clips and images can be accessed in the app. Parents can create emoji stickers from them and share on social media from the app.

The device rotates 360-degree horizontally and 100-degree vertically, featuring 1080p video recording, night vision, voice recognition and 4,000mAh built-in battery. It may be mounted on a wall or placed on a surface.

The S1 and R1 Lecoo Smart Cameras have similar designs and functionalities but differ in sizes.

Each can be paired with up to three other cameras and provides simultaneous viewing experience in the app. In the privacy mode, the camera rotates downward and hides the lens in the shaft. Users can wake it up from the app or push a button on the device.

Both cameras have microSD, micro-USB and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, two-way communication support and 24 hours of cloud storage. Besides the price, one big difference between the two models is that the smaller one does not support motion tracking.

Lenovo has established a new online shop for Lecoo, specifically for smart home products. The company plans to expand product categories soon.
