In the arena of IoT, coming with the creative ideas to solve the home life problems, startups have been regarded as the power to push the international smart home industry developing. However, there is a realty that averagely 70% of startups fail to deliver their products in the end. At the stage of DFM (Design for Manufacture), startups cannot find a suitable manufacturer to produce and maintain the product quality and cost.

And Google Taiwan plays the important base to sort out the manufacturing solutions for all Google IoT products such as ChromeBook, Nest Thermostat and Smoke Detectors, and others.” Jian believes the combination of startups’ creative ideas and software design with Taiwan's hardware manufacturing will be a very powerful integration.
