U.S.-based home automation brand Savant has announced the introduction of Wally – a family of touch screens for intuitive access to climate, lighting and entertainment control in a smart home.
U.S.-based home automation brand Savant has announced the introduction of Wally – a family of touch screens for intuitive access to climate, lighting and entertainment control in a smart home.
The Wally lineup has been designed to blend seamlessly into any décor and the integrated Savant Scenes technology will personalize the smart home experience for each user.
The Savant Wally touch screen product line includes high-resolution color touch screens using technology from Savant’s Pro Remote. Wally can control climate, advanced lighting, entertainment and activation of Savant Scenes to give users the luxury and convenience of smart home control. Wally touch screens use a presence sensor to activate them automatically as a person approaches, making them easy to use.
The first Wally product to be available is a single gang 5.5-inch touch screen (with 2.9-inch and 8-inch versions to follow later in the year) that delivers complete home control and high-resolution graphics.
For Integrators, the Wally product line is simple to install, fitting in a traditional single gang enclosure and low voltage powered using Power over Ethernet (POE 802.3af).

Savant Wally touch screens are available in white or black and will begin shipping in June, 2017.
