Smart home platform Yonomi can work with Google Assistant now, allowing Google Home users to set up “scenes” to control multiple home appliances simultaneously through voice commands.

A user may say “OK Google, fall asleep,” for example, to turn off TV and lights and lock all the doors. A command like “OK Google, turn on dinner party mode” will have your speakers play the right music while switching on the party mood lighting.

Yonomi has native support for smart home devices including Philips Hue, LIFX, Nest, TP Link and more. So besides IFTTT, Yonomi may also be used to automate home settings with Google Assistant-compatible speakers.

There is no hub, router, or other hardware to buy or servers to set up. The app is available for both iOS and Android – so download Yonomi today and start controlling all of your home devices with just a single quick voice command.

Since Yonomi supports Sonos natively, controlling Sonos speakers with Google Home can now be done easily. Just say “Turn on My Jams,” for example, to switch your Sonos speakers to any radio station, channel, or source you like. Or simply say “Turn on my Living Room Sonos” to add a little atmosphere. Other devices like your TV and Fire TV can be controlled directly via your Logitech Harmony Hub — just say “Turn on Watch TV” and you now have voice control over your television.

Yonomi announced recently the completion of a US$5 million Series A financing round led by Gentex, with participation from existing strategic investor Allegion.

Yonomi has worked with Gentex to pilot Yonomi One, a SaaS solution that integrates products and services with various smart home devices and platforms. Gentex has launched HomeLink Connect, which will allow vehicle owners to trigger smart home Routines remotely from the comfort of their cars.

Yonomi’s app, available for iPhone and Android, connects existing smart home devices and automates Routines for every room. The app is used across more than 150 countries.
