Forlan is an European, independent OEM and software solution provider specialized in deep learning video analytics and appliances for networked video. C3 is a video analytics suite, which comes with web-based configuration and flexible interfacing options.

SAIMOS C3 CORE brings the power of the C3 video analytics suite to Milestone XProtect in a fully integrated way. It provides different algorithms for several use cases like perimeter security, people counting and left/removed object detection.
Key features are:
- Person and object detection for indoor and outdoor use: Protects assets against unwanted intrusion with a flexible rule system for retention time, maximum speed and direction detection
- Person and object counting system for indoor and outdoor use: Counts persons or objects using a cutting-edge zone system and delivers insightful statistics and heatmaps as well as live occupancy data for comprehensive occupancy management
- Left/removed object detection: Secures indoor areas like emergency exits, server rooms or product counters against theft or left objects with an easy to use interface with only a few configuration steps
- Full Milestone Xprotect integration: All configuration steps can be managed from within the XProtect Management Client and event management as well as interface configuration is done automatically for the user. Alarms and Metadata output is visible from within the Xprotect Smart Client
The XProtect C3 CORE plugin will be free of charge. The C3 CORE products use the full power of the C3 framework within XProtect. All C3 CORE products are easily configurable within the XProtect Management Client and can be upgraded to full C3 product equivalents with a license Upgrade.
