ISONAS Pure Access integrated with OnSSI; takes Ocularis to the cloud in 2018
ISONAS, a Pure IP access control system manufacturer, announced the company has integrated its software application, Pure Access with the Ocularis platform, an award winning IP-based surveillance software, from On-Net Surveillance Systems’ (OnSSI). OnSSI’s Ocularis IP security and surveillance VMS platform increases security, reduces operational costs, and helps organizations move closer to prevention. Ocularis delivers open architecture, flexibility, and scalability for a range of applications. The powerful integration expands across all versions of Ocularis including Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate; enabling customers to have a direct integration between their access control and video management systems.

Pure Access is a cloud-based access control software application that provides users the ability to manage their access control from anywhere at any time, on any device. ISONAS fosters an open platform philosophy and a complete ISONAS and OnSSI integrated system allows customers to easily connect disparate video and access control systems together on one platform. The combined power of network-based Pure IP™, panel-less access control technology and IP video management software provides a unified, efficient solution. The integration delivers real-time monitoring with video verification and the ability for users to control both their video cameras and access control systems from one centralized platform. Customers benefit with greater interoperability and a powerful security solution that is second to none. “ISONAS is extremely excited to expand the Pure Access integration network to now include our longtime partner OnSSI. This integration gives customers more flexibility and opportunity to choose the products they prefer. We have a long history with OnSSI and look forward to what the future brings with this latest solution hitting the market,” states Melissa Stenger, VP of Product Management & Marketing at ISONAS.

“The integration of Ocularis and Pure Access provides a highly integrated and intelligent platform for both video and access control for many applications,” said Ken LaMarca, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, OnSSI. “Integrations such as this allows us to provide a comprehensive solution to our respective bases of new and established valued customers.”

The updated integration of the OnSSI Ocularis solution and Pure Access delivers all the features and power of the Ocularis solution to a customer’s front door, thanks to ISONAS’s long-time partner, C2P. C2P, Inc. is a technology leader in IP device connectivity to video management systems and completed the Pure Access integration to OnSSI in December. In the future, C2P will expand their platform to integrate additional VMS platforms to Pure Access and further the ISONAS mission of giving customers choice in access control and video solutions. “I’m pleased to announce that C2P has recently completed the ISONAS Pure Access integration with the OnSSI Ocularis family of products. Both ISONAS and OnSSI have been part of the C2P integration framework since 2010 and we are excited to now be able to say that partnership includes Pure Access,” states Paul Eaton President and CTO of Convergence TP. “The Pure Access platform has a very modern look and feel to it and is extremely easy to deploy and utilize as a result.”

ISONAS and OnSSI’s open community philosophies are in sync, making them a perfect combination for success. Their systems’ integration gives customers choice in their hardware, software and video management system, thus freeing them from the limits of closed systems and providing a path to the best of all platforms. ISONAS and OnSSI have a long-time partnership and are committed to creating a unified video and access control solution now and in the future.
