Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in compliance, monitoring, and investigations, strategically expanded its compliance, litigation support and investigative expertise on the West Coast with the appointments of key hires to lead its Los Angeles office.
Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in compliance, monitoring, and investigations, strategically expanded its compliance, litigation support and investigative expertise on the West Coast with the appointments of key hires to lead its Los Angeles office. Seasoned compliance, investigative and litigation professional, Asha Muldro, will serve as a senior managing director and deputy general counsel. While Matthew Zandi, a nationally recognized expert in Qui Tam, will serve as a senior managing director.

Previously, Muldro was a partner at Willenken Wilson Loh & Delgado where she led white collar investigations, defense matters, and complex civil litigation cases. She returned to private practice after spending seven years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Central District of California. Muldro directed federal law enforcement agencies in more than 100 criminal investigations, presented numerous cases to the grand jury, served as lead trial counsel on multiple bench and jury trials, and briefed and argued several appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also assisted in the exchange of information with foreign countries through the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Justice, Muldro spent five years practicing law at Latham & Watkins in its White Collar Defense and Investigations group. Earlier in her career, Muldro worked for the U.S. House of Representatives and J.P. Morgan Chase, and she clerked for U.S. District Judge Robert P. Patterson, Jr. in the Southern District of New York. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Art’s degree from Yale University.

Most recently, Zandi practiced law at Kaufman, Borgeest & Ryan and as a senior counsel at Nixon Peabody. He focused on fraud, federal whistleblower statutes, compliance, investigations, litigation and policy. During his tenure in public service, Zandi held several significant posts with the U.S. Department of Justice including Assistant U.S. Attorney; Senior Trial Attorney at Main Justice, Civil Division; Director of the Affirmative Civil Enforcement Taskforce; and Deputy District Attorney for Orange County. In 2006, he was nominated by the President and the Attorney General to serve as Associate Attorney General for the Office of Special Counsel. In addition, Zandi is a veteran consultant with 25 years of experience in corporate and political campaign management. His talents as a strategist and crisis manager have been recognized by the American Association of Political Consultants and his work featured in Campaigns and Elections’ Politics magazine and U.S. News & World Report. Zandi earned a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California.
