Exhibiting their solutions at Secutech, Retailnext aims to bring their state of the art systems to retailers in Asia, according to Sin Hin Wong, Head of APAC at the company.

Speaking to asmag.com, Wong explained what the company was showcasing and how the company believed it could make a difference to retailers. Today, due to the emergence of e-commerce, several brick and mortar stores are facing obvious challenges. Retailnext's solutions appear to be an answer to them.

"The goal of today's exhibition is to build a showcase to the retailers in terms of the various retail solutions that Retailnext brings to the table, helping retailers to look at opportunities whereby they can improve efficiency, marketing engagement and also looking at ways to help retailers to personalize the shopper's experience while inside the stores," Wong said.

"So what you are seeing in this particular booth is that there are two key products. The first one is in-store analytics," he said, adding that the second part of what they were showcasing was the mobile engage, which is another product reach customers who are outside the store so that they can help to drive better-personalised engagement.

"I want to be very clear, the product is not to replace the current marketing channels that retailers are using but is meant to help aggregate the various entry points of this channel, and how to personalize the experience. What they are looking at in mobile and how to help drive conversion by bringing traffic to the store. And this is how the two products kind of work together and this is what we are showcasing today in this exhibition."

Speaking of customers in Asia Pacific, Wong said that most major brands have an interest in Retailnext. The company has a footprint in most major countries like China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, rest of Southeast Asia and Australia.

The company also works closely with what they call the local brands.
