SecuGen, provider of optical fingerprint device and technology vendor, is pleased to announce the unveiling of the Hamster Pro 45, a new FAP 45 fingerprint reader that supports both flat, two-finger and rolled finger captures.
The Hamster Pro 45 fingerprint reader is sleek in design, accurate, rugged and astonishingly low cost. SecuGen's new product is designed to meet the FBI's Appendix F standard and is suitable for AFIS and other law enforcement applications.
The Hamster Pro 45 is slated for release in the first half of 2017. SecuGen will also release at that time the OEM sensor inside of the Hamster Pro 45 called the U45. The U45 sensor is intended for developers wanting to create their own two-finger readers or to imbed the two-finger sensor into some larger device.
