Deutsche Telekom partners with Qualys to secure enterprises
Qualys, provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, announced a new partnership with Deutsche Telekom that will add the Qualys Private Cloud Platform to its portfolio of Telekom Security Managed Services.
Qualys, provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, announced a new partnership with Deutsche Telekom that will add the Qualys Private Cloud Platform to its portfolio of Telekom Security Managed Services. Under the agreement, Deutsche Telekom has chosen Qualys to help secure the digital transformation of enterprises globally. The Qualys platform is implemented as a new regionally tailored service that delivers Telekom Security customers 2-second visibility of security and compliance posture while keeping data entirely within Germany.

Organizations adopting cloud infrastructure must secure diverse global IT assets while complying with specific regional regulations. The Qualys Private Cloud Platform enables MSSPs, enterprises, and government agencies to deliver Qualys' continuous security and compliance solutions from within their own datacenter, and offer customers full geographic control of all the underlying security data. Deutsche Telekom will deploy the Qualys Private Cloud Platform regionally in its latest high-security datacenter in Biere, Germany, as outlined in a recent announcement.

"Qualys' cloud-based platform uniquely provides Telekom Security customers the ability to tailor continuous visibility of IT security and compliance to the needs of their organization and IT environment," said Dirk Backofen, Head of Telekom Security. "We are happy to offer our customers the ability to keep their data in the German region."

"Telekom Security has built an impressive portfolio of services to help global enterprises leverage the cloud for digital transformation," said Philippe Courtot, chairman and CEO, Qualys "The Qualys Private Cloud Platform helps Telekom Security customers answer the future challenges of digital transformation with secure cloud-deployment options that address regional data and business needs."

Deutsche Telekom will also offer the Qualys Cloud Platform delivered via the public cloud as a managed service, including Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance, Web Application Security, Security Assessment Questionnaire, Continuous Monitoring and ThreatPROTECT. As a cloud-based solution, the Qualys Cloud Platform integrates real-time visibility of IT assets, vulnerabilities and key policy configurations into a single view across data centers, public and private clouds.
