Verint Systems announced that one of the largest wireless network operators in the United States is using its solutions to provide robust security management and business intelligence capabilities across the organization's network of retail stores and distribution sites.
The wireless provider deployed Verint EdgeVR and Verint EdgeVMS, along with Oncam 360-degree video surveillance cameras and Dell servers—to support its multisite functionality. The initial phase, which began in October 2015 working with systems integration partner Tyco Integrated Security, included the implementation of Verint video intelligence solutions in more than 300 retail and kiosk locations. Over the next three years, the wireless provider will implement these solutions across its entire retail network.
When the rollout is complete, thousands of sites will be equipped with Verint technology to help ensure safe environments for employees and customers, and to support risk management, loss prevention and compliance requirements. The organization also plans to leverage Verint video intelligence solutions in all new retail and corporate locations going forward to further streamline security processes and systems.
