IPVideo, a manufacturer of IP-based video surveillance and command center solutions, announced the availability of several new plug-ins that expand the functionality of its C3fusion Integrated Security Management (ISM) platform. C3fusion, which is quickly gaining acceptance as the preferred security and facilities management platform for municipalities, utilities and law enforcement, provides centralized command, control and coordinated response to a wide range of disparate systems through a central interface.

New connectors deliver integration with systems from Bosch, Hirsch, Isonas and CyberExtruder. These come as an addition to the current support for several VMS platforms, including Milestone System's XProtect, and other physical security and facilities management solutions.

C3fusion is IPVideo Corporation's gateway to creating an open community of integration partners, including the ability to bridge legacy security systems with the expanding "Internet of Things." This includes functionality far beyond the scope of traditional security solutions. For example, IPVideo is currently working with industry partner, Zetron, to integrate its emergency call center and automated dispatch solutions within the C3fusion control module. Full integration and coordination between security and emergency response operations could offer tremendous benefits to municipalities, improving response times, operating efficiencies and effectiveness of outcomes.

"IPVideo views C3fusion, and products like it, as the future of the security industry. As the 'Internet of Things' redefines the boundaries of connectivity and the types of devices and solutions that can communicate and interact with each other, C3fusion will serve as an 'IoT Manager,' bringing new levels of functionality and intelligence to the security information management platform," explained Margie Gurwin, Director of Marketing.

IPVideo plans to announce the release of additional C3fusion plug-ins throughout 2016.
