ORing launches new wireless APs with high cost efficiency

ORing launches new wireless APs with high cost efficiency
Wireless equipment has been increasingly adopted in various industrial applications to reduce cabling costs and enhance the scalability of backbone networks. In line with the trend, ORing, whose wireless solutions have achieved remarkable sales performance, has launched a series of compact-size, cost-effective industrial wireless access points (APs). Some of the new models even feature an IP67 casing to provide a higher level of dust and water protection for outdoors usage.

The series consists of the IAP-420/ IAP-420+ for indoor setting and the IAP-W420+/IAP-W422+/IAP-W520+/IAP-W522+ for outdoors installation. In compliance with IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards, the new IAP-420/IAP-420+ WLAN APs come with a small form factor to facilitate installation in environments with limited space. With a wide operating temperature ranging from -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F), these models provide two 10/100Base-T(X) Ethernet ports that can be powered over Ethernet cables as they are compliant with IEEE 802.3af PoE standard. The PoE support eliminates the trouble of installing cables in harsh environments. The IAP-420/IAP-420+ also supports dual DC power inputs (12-48VDC) to provide redundant power supply when necessary.

The water-proof models, including IAP-W420+, IAP-W422+, IAP-W520+, and IAP-W522+, are equipped with an IP-67 casing and provide a wide operating temperature between -20 to 70°C (-4 to 158°F).

ORing's new series of wireless APs supports 802.11n MIMO which significantly reduces the interference between different routes and enhances data rate up to 150/300 Mbps. The devices also support roaming and redundancy, providing faster and more reliable wireless connections.

ORing provides a wide range of wireless APs and is backed up by a team of marketing specialists and technical staff that provide topnotch and real-time services.
