QNAP Systems released Qfile HD – a free mobile app designed for users of Android tablets to remotely access, manage, and share files on their QNAP Turbo NAS and to upload files directly from their Android device when on the go.

QNAP Systems released Qfile HD – a free mobile app designed for users of Android tablets to remotely access, manage, and share files on their QNAP Turbo NAS and to upload files directly from their Android device when on the go.

“The digital world is increasingly becoming a mobile world, and Qfile HD joins an established range of QNAP-created mobile apps that aim to improve the remote management and enjoyment of files & data stored on Turbo NAS,” said Ken Cheah, product manager of QNAP, adding “with its many features and optimization for Android tablets, Qfile HD offers users with a fantastic way to manage, access, share and enjoy their files anywhere and at anytime.”

Supporting access to multiple Turbo NAS and able to provide a complete overview of system tasks; Qfile HD provides easy file management with the ability to copy/move/rename/delete files, thumbnail/list views to identify files easier, offline file reading for documents & media, folder & file sharing, and integrated support for compressing and decompressing Zip files (firmware QTS 4.0 or newer).
