The main campus is located in the academic hub of Yangpu district, the contemporary institution enrolls more than 7,000 students with a total of 200 plus staff.
To provide a safe learning environment, the university was keen to deploy a video surveillance system that could help the staff manage campus facilities. As these facilities are also open to students, vandalism is a potential concern, the system would help the university safeguard the students' personal belongings, as well as the computing equipment and electronic devices.
SOLUTIONS
With the recommendation of the installer, the university selected the MESSOA SDF447 Dome camera for image quality specifically in low light performance as well as the length coverage, as the labs are poorly lit majority of the time, and the wide rectangular shaped requires wide coverage to capture the whole room with clear, sharp images.
The SDF447 is a high-end dome camera that incorporates top-tier optics and lens to deliver outstanding image clarity in 700TVL high resolution. Backed by Lumii Technology, the SDF447 is capable of delivering outstanding image in as low as 0.02 lux environment while reducing the image noises to a minimum.
The SDF447 also features the top-tier Tamron vari-focal lens to cope with length coverage, by installing the cameras in the back corner of each room; the faculty staff would be able to see the entire lab at any desired angle without encountering any blind spots.
RESULTS
A total of 60 cameras were deployed and enables easy monitoring from the administration office with high-resolution images providing effective management in these classrooms.
