Thai companies remain positive: E-ideas
E-ideas was established in 1999 with a focus on research and development and production of software and hardware, but also provides consultations and distribution for its clients. E-ideas was established in 1999 with a focus on research and development and production of software and hardware, but also provides consultations and distribution for its clients. For hardware products, the company is more focused on the development of electronic-based products. As for software products, the company is more concerned with imagery, such as their image-processing abilities.

In the beginning, the company first worked in the Suvharanabumi airport project, providing network and automation for Bangkok's international airport. The company launched a proprietary software product, completely self-developed, the e-Centralized Command and Control Center (e4C), which serves as a command center for all video feeds. If a fire, flood, accident, etc. were to occur, an event or warning will pop up on the digital map to alert operators. The system also uses ALPR/LPR, which has up to 96 percent accuracy, and face recognition for individuals that pass by the cameras to recognize blacklisted individuals or vehicles. Its ALPR/LPR technology can register license plates up to 120 km/hr. The E4C uses visual link software to automatically link the information from its database to identify suspects or perpetrators and send the information to the police.
