Asia Update: Renewed focus on Asia

Asia Update: Renewed focus on Asia
Since 1992, a&s has been a well-known and trusted media brand in the physical, electronic security world, linking quality equipment/software/solutions providers to security professionals and purchasing decision makers such as distributors, resellers/dealers, importers, integrators and consultants worldwide. As global economic recovery remains to be seen, many turn to or remained focused on emerging markets, such as parts of Asia, for growth opportunities.

With the merger with Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media (MFNE) in 2009, the integrated media services provider has reinvested significantly in the region, leading the regional security community to embrace a new age of digital communications and physical-event partners/solutions finding. Through a brand-new dedicated website, a bimonthly-turned-monthly print publication a&s Asia, and deepened reach of Secutech shows and GDSF (Global Digital Security Forum) events, the integrated media approach will ensure that you and your partners don't miss a beat on what's happening in this dynamic and thriving region.

Highlighted Efforts in Asia
Asia Corner: Starting Oct 2013, this all-new social media-like, mobile-friendly information exchange platform for the vibrant Asian security, safety and construction community will be available on asmag.com, with real-time report findings, event/road show/project updates and thought-provoking interactions to keep security/safety/construction professionals, solutions providers and seekers, and stakeholders and officials in the know, on the go.
a&s Asia: Starting Nov/Dec 2013, the print publication of a&s Asia will adopt a new shape, with infographic-rich findings, easy-to-grasp highlights, and key discussions and quotes from online reports, features, updates and interactions on Asia Corner. A tablet-friendly version will also be made available on both iOS AppStore and Android Market/Play in Jan 2014, when the pub becomes a monthly, with movers and shakers highlighted as cover personnel. Other local editions in local languages include Japan, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Thailand (coming soon) and India. Expect more in the near future!
Deeper Impact: Secutech shows are now available in Taiwan (Secutech Int'l), India (Mumbai and New Delhi), Thailand and Vietnam, with the latest addition Guangzhou kicking off in mainland China in May 2014. As for GDSF events, signature technical seminars and high-caliber practical discussions are now running in Taiwan (Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung), India (New Delhi, Mumbai and more), Thailand (Bangkok and more), Vietnam (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), Japan (Tokyo) and multiple Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities in China. Watch this space for more cities!

If you are interested in the region, there is no better alternative than a&s and Secutech as far as media exposure and reach are concerned. “Asia is our backyard, and we are thrilled to be working more closely with everyone involved and explore possibilities for more collaboration and prosperity in the region,” said Parson Lee, Publisher of a&s series publications and MD for MFNE.
