OnSSI Ocularis VMS integrates Elerts software solution
A new integration between OnSSI's Ocularis VMS platform and the Elerts software solution enables security personnel to receive immediate, actionable information about incidents occurring anywhere within a facility, campus or transit system. Now any individual with a smartphone can be an active participant in maintaining a more secure environment.

A new integration between OnSSI's Ocularis VMS platform and the Elerts software solution enables security personnel to receive immediate, actionable information about incidents occurring anywhere within a facility, campus or transit system. Now any individual with a smartphone can be an active participant in maintaining a more secure environment.

When an individual with a smartphone submits an incident report using the Elerts application, Elerts cloud-based software matches the GPS location of that smartphone with a database of camera field of view polygons. Information is instantly sent to Ocularis, which then automatically pushes live footage from the camera closest to the incident to a command center or other display.

“The Ocularis-Elerts integration delivers a solution that enables better, faster communication of incidents,” said Gadi Piran, President and CTO, OnSSI. “The open architecture of Ocularis enables us to work closely with developers of industry-leading technology to create practical and useful new applications for video management solutions.”

“The Elerts system, in combination with OnSSI Ocularis Video Management Software, creates a breakthrough in usefulness for a surveillance network,” said Ed English, CEO of Elerts. “We're pleased to work with OnSSI to empower this new technology.”
