Launch of HD Academy to help industry people meet CCTV upgrade challenges
Secutech Vietnam will be held from 8 – 10 August at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and is expected to attract 90 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions.
The show is organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media and co-organised with Vietnam Advertisement & Fair Exhibition JS Company. In its sixth edition, Secutech Vietnam is an ideal platform for international manufacturers and distributors to explore business opportunities in Vietnam. On display will be a diverse range of security products such as surveillance systems, access alarms, rescue equipment, as well as industry specific solutions.
Mr Parson Lee, Managing Director for Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd believes that Vietnam offers a good potential market for the security industry. He explained: “After becoming a member of the World Trade Organisation in 2007, the Vietnamese market has attracted many international companies who are developing a range of different projects that require security systems and products. At Secutech Vietnam 2013, exhibiting international brands include Bosch (Germany), Comnet (UK), GE (US), Micro Digital (Korea), Mobotix (Germany), Nedap( the Netherlands), Naffeco (UAE),Panasonic (Japan), Tyco (Switzerland) and Videotec (Italy), together with local brands such as Bao Toan, Le Phat, Silver Sea and Thinh Thien Ngan. In addition, pavilions formed by suppliers from Korea, and Taiwan respectively are returning to the fair.
Secutech Vietnam also offers an opportunity to acquire knowledge about new technologies. For example, the HD Academy will be launched at this year's show to help industry people to meet challenges of CCTV upgrades. The academy includes the Global Digital Security Forum (GDSF) Vietnam and HD Surveillance Live Display.
Speakers at GDSF Vietnam will include experts from leading security brand such as Afidus, Bosch and Vivotek who will advise on how to meet the technical challenges of CCTV upgrading. While at the HD Surveillance Live Display, visitors can view the performance capabilities of various HD cameras such as colour restoration, resolution and colour performance, frame rate and image lag. Participating brands include Dahua, EverFocus, Lilin, Panasonic and Sony.
