US Congressman Patrick Murphy visited Cross Match Technologies' headquarters where he was able to visit with constituents and view firsthand their work to ramp up production of Cross Match's new scanners and  multi-biometric handheld solution. The visit comes as part of Rep. Murphy's ongoing effort to "bring Congress to your company."

"Rep. Murphy understands the challenges and realities that technology companies face today in government contracting and in the global marketplace," said David Buckley, CEO of Cross Match Technologies. "It is very important for us to have a close working relationship with our delegation in Congress – we look forward continuing our joint effort with Rep. Murphy and his team to bring more jobs and prosperity to our community and our region."

The new scanners are the next generation scanning technology incorporating a revolutionary user interface, enhanced optical design, and more flexible capture modes. The new scanners deliver a completely self-guided ten-print fingerprint capture process that meets the demands of high throughput implementations such as border control applications. These technologies currently support the US Department of Homeland Security's US VISIT program and a host of other national security programs within federal, state and local governments.
