The project involved ten Farmacias Similares retail stores in Mexico. Each store was equipped with a PTZ camera hosted in the Iveda Solutions' cloud, and utilized plug-and-play hosted video and online mapping services.

Each store was equipped with a PTZ camera hosted in the Iveda Solutions' cloud, and utilized plug-and-play hosted video and online mapping services.
Farmacias Similares owns and operates more than 4000 establishments and discount drugstore outlets offering generic drugs in Mexico, Guatemala, and Chile. Additionally, it offers doctor consultation and laboratory services.
Before rolling out plug-and-play hosted video and online mapping services to their corporate and franchise stores, Farmacias Similares wanted to see fast provisioning, simple web-based interface, and true centralized management of all cameras. The pilot accomplished all these objectives and more.
