Continuing its commitment to providing customers with security solutions that allow for flexibility and control while meeting the demands of today's security and technology requirements, Schneider Electric announced the relocation of its Fort Collins, Colo., facility, the center of development for its Pelco IP and megapixel video security products including its popular line of Sarix cameras. The new facility, which is double in size from the previous building, will allow for further investment, expansion and hiring efforts in the development of IP and megapixel video security products and includes the construction of new test laboratories and workspace.
As physical security continues to migrate from analog technology, IP video security solutions provide security and facility professionals with greater recording, archiving, and integration capabilities. Today's announcement furthers Schneider's commitment to providing its customers with the advanced security solutions they require to protect the people, property and assets in their buildings, along with driving business and increasing efficiency.
"Over the years, our Fort Collins location has served as the hub for the development of IP and megapixel security solutions, bringing unparalleled IP and megapixel video security products to the market," said Herve Fages, Senior VP of Video Line Business at Schneider Electric. "This strategic relocation of the Fort Collins facility provides our employees with even more resources to grow and innovate our robust line of IP video and digital security solutions."
