Aoptix appoints VP of Operations

Aoptix, a technology innovation company that applies optics to transform identity verification and wireless communications, announced that it has appointed Scott Clark as the company's VP of Operations to lead production of its identity solutions and communications products.

“Scott joins AOptix at an exciting time,” said Dean Senner, Chairman and CEO of Aoptix. “We recently announced major new deployments of our identity verification systems and we're gearing up to introduce groundbreaking new products in both our identity solutions and communications businesses. Scott's extensive experience leading global operations for complex technologies, including data networking products, will benefit the company as our growth rate accelerates.”

As VP of Operations for Aoptix, Clark will be responsible for procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and customer support across Aoptix' two core businesses. The identity solutions business unit has deployed iris-based identity verification products at some of the world's busiest airports and border crossings, and introduced its new smart mobile identity. The communications business unit is developing ultra-high bandwidth, long-range wireless communications technologies for enterprises, government agencies, and network service providers.

Prior to joining Aoptix, Clark was VP of Operations at Arecont Vision, a provider of IP-based MegaPixel security cameras. Clark also has run global operations for publicly traded companies such as Opnext and Allied Telesis, and has directly managed factories in China and Singapore.

“AOptix is solving complex, global challenges that no one else has been able to solve,” said Clark. “I look forward to supporting the company's growth and leading a team committed to the highest standards for quality and efficiency.”
