Schneider Electric announced Mark Ingram will assume the role of Manager of Strategic Distribution Sales at Schneider Electric. A security industry veteran, Ingram brings decades of experience and deep relationships in distribution to the position. In this role, Ingram will be responsible for fostering relationships with Schneider's security distributors for Pelco solutions.
“Mark has carved out a long and successful career in the security industry, particularly on the sales side, so his progression to strategic distribution sales is an ideal fit for us,” said Herve Fages, Senior VP of Global Product Marketing, Schneider Electric. “We are excited to have Mark on board and to leverage his vast experience to better understand how we can grow our businesses together.”
Prior to joining Schneider, Ingram served as President of Visonic, a Tyco International company, where he gained global business experience and broad insight into many aspects of security business, including standard intrusion, radio frequency, cellular and IP product offerings across many market channels. Ingram has also held several senior sales positions at ADI where he worked as a VP in various capacities for nearly 20 years.
Today's announcement furthers Schneider's commitment to distributors. Recently, the company also announced that it is offering expedited one-day shipping on its most popular video security products and no questions asked return policy with a 90-day window to return products with no restocking fees.
These new guarantees assure on-demand product availability as compared to the industry standard three-business-day shipment, which is key for security professionals, allowing them to better control inventory and react to changing business needs at a moment's notice without being penalized by fees.
