TagMaster has received an additional order for the expansion of the student and computer tracking system installed at University of Sabah, Borneo.

The order is for additional 2400 units of TagMaster's Samui and Edam RFID tags along with extension of the school's network of Celebes RFID readers to be deployed during October & November 2012. The initial deployment was completed in May 2012.

Utilising TagMaster's Samui and Edam RFID tags working at ranges up to 60 metres together with the excellent multiple tag handling capabilities of TagMaster's Celebes RFID readers, the system serves to meet the University's requirements for monitoring student distribution across the campus, reduce loss of valuable assets and monitor attendance.

“This expansion order is a proof that the system is working well and is now being extended to additional faculties within the campus”, says Martin Harnevie, Chief Executive of TagMaster's Malaysian subsidiary. “We expect further orders from the same school during 2012 and 2013 to eventually cover the complete campus as well as daughter-campuses.”
