DVTel partners with Vidsys, Exacq and releases smart encoder and cam

DVTel and VidSys announced the integration of the DVTel Latitude NVMS and the VidSys PSIM software. The strategic partnership streamlines usability, and provides more open systems options and feature sets to best serve both organizations' customers.

The integration allows cameras connected to the DVTel software to be viewed in the PSIM application. Functionalities include the ability to display live or recorded video; capture and save snapshots from video footage; manage bookmarks and clips from recorded video; export video; send PTZ, auto-iris, and auto-focus commands to any camera connected to Latitude; and set preset positions for cameras in real-time.

DVTel also announced that DVTel 's Quasar line of IP cameras is now integrated with the Exacq Technologies exacqVision VMS. The two leading products' ONVIF‐based integration provides the customers of both companies more open system options and features.

Exacq customers can now take advantage of the advanced features of the DVTel Quasar cameras and obtain the highest video quality paired with reduced bandwidth, dramatic storage savings and lowest cost of ownership. DVTEL's Quasar cameras are ONVIF-compliant, which enables them to be used with a wide range of other manufacturer's systems.

End users can play live and recorded video, and seamlessly control Quasar cameras using the exacqVision VMS. Exacq's open architecture video surveillance and recording solution is based on a client server architecture which provides the foundation for deploying single-site camera systems as well as large, scalable distributed corporate systems with thousands of cameras.

Furthermore, DVTel expands its video analytics product line by releasing two new ioimage technologies. The new products — an encoder for analog cameras and a D1 resolution IP camera, both with built-in analytic rules — are aimed at the remote monitoring market, and designed for both commercial and residential installations.

Since the DVTEL acquisition, ioimage and DVTel partners have leveraged the powerful analytics engine to help customers secure their facilities, deter crime and maximize ROI by limiting costs and reducing theft.
