Iveda Solutions announced the appointment of Brian Duling, the newest addition to the Company's executive team, as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
Duling is a senior financial executive with over 25 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and also held other executive level positions for both private and public companies. Duling has worked in the wireless telephone, IT consulting, Internet services, GPS, and software development industries.
Duling will oversee the financial well-being of the company and all aspects of accounting and finance, administration, and human resources functions. He will develop and manage banking/vendor relationships to conserve working capital, financial reports, budgets, and internal control systems. Duling will also direct investor relations and capital strategies to support the company's growth.
Most recently, Duling served as CFO and COO for PSS, Inc., a high tech firm specializing in professional service solutions for the contact center industry, and as CFO for Global Profit Technologies, a foreign exchange trading software firm. Brian was the VP-Finance and CFO for Cellular One, a wholly owned subsidiary of then-SBC Communications. Duling held equity positions in two start-up software companies, where he led both organizations to rapid, profitable growth and successful acquisitions by publicly-held firms. Brian was also the CFO for Trimble Mobile Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trimble Navigation.
Duling has lead or assisted numerous firms in all areas of financial matters ranging from daily accounting activities, cash flow management, budgeting, financial planning and reporting, business plan development, as well as strategic planning, banking relations and successful fund raising with the venture capital community. Additionally, he has significant experience in internal IT and human resources management. Duling has played the lead role in numerous mergers and acquisitions, has sat on the advisory board of directors for numerous firms in a variety of industries including industrial computerized control systems, estate planning services, automated logistics/shipping, Internet services, workflow management Software as a Service, GPS telematics, and microchip manufacturing.
