AMAG Technology, an access control, IP video and intrusion detection system (IDS) solution provider, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jerry Cordasco to the new VP of Product Management. Jerry is responsible for the strategically important Symmetry Product Portfolio. Cordasco will manage all product management functions, from product inception to end of lifecycle including analyzing market conditions, voice of the customer, planning, forecasting and implementation. As VP, Cordasco will bring together all aspects of product management and align the company's goals with its product initiatives. Cordasco reports to AMAG's parent division G4S Technology's CEO, Keith Whitelock.

Cordasco's team of product managers oversees all Symmetry hardware and software products. The team is poised for growth and plans to expand this year.
Cordasco is also the VP of Operations at G4S Video Monitoring and Data Center in Boston, where he oversaw the building of the brand new, state-of-the-art monitoring center from the ground up.
Prior to working for AMAG/G4S, Cordasco was the President and CEO of Compass Technology for five years, the VP of Business Development for Infographic Systems, and spent 14 years at Cerberus Pyrotronics (now Siemens) as the Director of Business Development.
