Morpho Detection, the explosives and narcotics detection business of Morpho, Safran group's security unit, today announced its next-generation Itemiser DX desktop explosives trace detection (ETD) system has been certified for air cargo screening by the U.K. Department for Transport (DfT).

This certification from U.K. DfT is an important recognition of Itemiser DX' ability to protect the air cargo supply chain. As a result, Itemiser DX is now available for quick, accurate detection of explosives at air cargo facilities throughout the U.K. where it can help air cargo facilities and operators increase efficiency and ROI on security infrastructure investments.
