SimonsVoss Technologies AG has reported group sales of Euro 46.4 million for the fiscal year 2011. SimonsVoss has exceeded sales by an impressive 18 percent compared with the previous year.
The main driving force behind growth in 2011 was the business development in Germany. However, sales also increased significantly abroad, thanks to the start of the new Smart Handle and the RFID version of the Digital Lock Cylinder.

In order to meet the increasing global demand, SimonsVoss is currently building a new production facility in Osterfeld, located in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The commencement of development for this facility will begin this summer. Production ramp-up for digital locking cylinders and the digital escutcheon Smart Handle is scheduled from mid-2013.
