Sagy Amit, Southwestern Regional Sales Director
VideoIQ, the leader in delivering innovative video surveillance solutions, announced the addition of Sagy Amit to its sales team in the position of southwestern regional sales director. In this role, Amit will be responsible for driving sales and distribution of VideoIQ's line of intelligent all-in-one video surveillance systems, including iCVR-HD cameras, iCVR dome cameras, iCVR encoders, and the iCST line of streaming cameras and encoders.
Amit brings extensive security industry experience to his role as regional sales director, having held senior level sales positions at ioimage, Safeguards Technology and SOS Advanced Security. Amit spent five years at ioimage, where he helped grow it from a 14 person start-up to a recognized video analytics provider. Most recently, Amit was the national director of business development as part of the Security Center of Excellence at Schneider Electric, where his team was responsible for increasing the footprint of Schneider's $500 million security business in North America.

Carolina Dybeck Happe, CFO and Executive VP
Carolina Dybeck Happe has been appointed CFO and Executive VP of the ASSA ABLOY Group effective March 1st 2012. She succeeds Tomas Eliasson who, as has been announced earlier, will take up a position outside the company.
Carolina Dybeck Happe is currently CFO of Trelleborg, a global industrial group listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Before that Carolina has spent nine years with ASSA ABLOY, the last four years as CFO of the EMEA division located in London and before that as CFO of market region Central Europe located in Berlin. She was born in 1972 and holds a Master Degree in Finance.

Ryno Van der Vyver, Regional Sales Manager of Southern Africa
Avigilon, a leader in high-definition (HD) and megapixel video surveillance systems, announced its expansion into the growing surveillance market in Southern Africa with the appointment of a security industry expert in the region, Ryno Van der Vyver, as the company's Regional Sales Manager for Southern Africa.
A long-time security sales veteran, Van der Vyver will be responsible for managing Avigilon's existing business and creating new sales growth in South Africa. Van der Vyver joins Avigilon from UTC Fire & Security (Formerly GE Security) where he served as Territory Sales Manager for Southern Africa. Prior to UTC, Van der Vyver enjoyed success within the security industry with SESCO where he was one of the company's top performing sales managers.

German digital camera manufacturer Basler has reinforced its IP camera sales team and has appointed a new product manager.
Bjorn Weber is taking over product management for Basler's IP camera series. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and started working for Basler in 2005 as a Product Support Engineer for machine vision cameras. In 2008, Bjorn Weber joined Basler's IP camera team and was responsible for IP camera product support.
