Scott Harkins, Leader of Products Businesses in the Americas

Honeywell announced that Scott Harkins has been appointed to lead Honeywell Security Group's (HSG) products businesses in the Americas. Harkins will report directly to HSG President Ron Rothman, and will oversee the company's intrusion, video and access systems divisions, which serve customers across North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. HSG's customers include security dealers and integrators who serve residential end users, as well as government and commercial end users in a multitude of industries ranging from casinos and schools, to hospitals and utilities.

Harkins joined Honeywell in 1995. For the past three years, he has overseen the company's video surveillance and access control divisions, where he was instrumental in introducing technology. Under his direction, Honeywell also built a complete entry-level-to-enterprise-system portfolio of video and access solutions.

In his new role, Harkins will also manage Honeywell's intrusion portfolio, which is the security industry's largest and includes ADEMCO security systems, AlarmNet radio communications, Total Connect remote services and the First Alert Professional dealer program.
