Morpho (Safran group) announced that Robert Eckel will serve as CEO of MorphoTrust USA. MorphoTrust was formed in July 2011 from the acquisition of L-1 Identity Solutions by Safran.
As CEO of MorphoTrust, Mr. Eckel will lead the former L-1 Biometric, Secure Credentialing and Enrollment Services businesses in the United States (U.S.). He will manage these businesses under a Proxy Board pursuant to an agreement developed with the U.S. government. MorphoTrust is headquartered in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Mr. Eckel previously served as President of the Secure Credentialing Division of L-1 Identity Systems. He joined L-1 in August 2008 as part of the acquisition of Digimarc, where he served as President of Digimarc's Identity System business since August of 2005. Prior to joining Digimarc, he served as VP and GM, Air Traffic Management Systems, for Raytheon Company.

EverFocus Electronics, a global top 20 global professional security equipment manufacturer, has welcomed Peter Robinson as its Business Development Manager. Peter will be responsible for ensuring EverFocus capitalises on growth opportunities from the adoption of its HD-CCTV DVRs and cameras – which offer the simplest upgrade path to high definition (HD) for coaxial based surveillance installations.
Peter is well known within the industry and has a track record of success in developing sales channels for new surveillance technology. He had kept a close eye on EverFocus and the progress it has made in bringing HD-CCTV products to market, and was attracted to the company by the huge potential that HD-CCTV offers for resellers, integrators and end users.
