Hirsch, a leading security systems manufacturer, has launched a new Learning Center training facility in Ismaning, Germany to support its growing activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Duplicating the physical design and course content of its award-winning Learning Center at Hirsch's headquarters in Santa Ana, California, the Ismaning facility offers hands-on classes for end-users and channel partners on Hirsch DIGI*TRAC access control hardware and Hirsch Velocity security management software.

Hirsch's Learning Center in Santa Ana trains more than 1000 students each year in its week-long interactive programs. A growing volume of business outside the U.S. and strong demand from customers and partners for Hirsch's Identity Management solutions prompted the opening of the new facility in Germany.

“While our classes in California are open to all of our partners and customers, it sometimes was a challenge for our customers in EMEA to travel to the U.S.,” said Scott Chillemi, Hirsch Learning Center Manager. “The availability of classes in Europe will reduce participant travel time and cost, and open up these programs to many who could not have attended otherwise.”

Niki Caletti, Managing Director of Hirsch EMEA Operations added, “This facility demonstrates our commitment to the region. Hirsch offers sales, technical support, professional services and now training in a location convenient to all of our EMEA customers. As customers learn more about the capabilities of our products, they tend to find more ways to use them, which enhances the value of their Hirsch systems.”
