Personnel Tracking of the Week

Tony Craythorne, Senior VP of Global Channels 3VR, the video intelligence company, announced two major appointments to its executive team as the company continues to expand, fueled by customer wins in the banking, retail and healthcare verticals. Charlie Ryan has joined the company as CFO and Tony Craythorne will serve as Senior VP of Global Channels. Both Ryan and Craythorne are seasoned executives with significant venture and public company experience.

3VR, the video intelligence company, announced two major appointments to its executive team as the company continues to expand, fueled by customer wins in the banking, retail and healthcare verticals. Charlie Ryan has joined the company as CFO and Tony Craythorne will serve as Senior VP of Global Channels. Both Ryan and Craythorne are seasoned executives with significant venture and public company experience.

Ryan and Craythorne join 3VR at a time of tremendous growth. Ryan served as CFO for Sensage, an enterprise software company in the security sector. Ryan began his career as an investment banker in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions with leading global firms, including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse. He has also served in corporate leadership positions at H-P, VeriSign, and iFILM.

Craythorne comes to 3VR with extensive channel experience, most recently serving as VP of Global Modular Channels for Hitachi Data Systems. Craythorne has also held executive sales positions at Brocade, Bell Microproducts, Ideal Hardware and Teksys.

Wolfgang Ritter, VP, Worldwide Sale,

TimeSight Systems, the industry leader in Video Lifecycle Management (VLM), announced that industry sales executive Wolfgang Ritter has joined the company as VP, Worldwide Sales. Ritter joins the company at a time when the surveillance industry is dealing with escalating camera counts, increasingly higher resolution, and a trend towards longer retention times, all of which are creating a very real storage issue and the need for advanced storage management technologies such as those found in the TimeSight platform.

Prior to joining TimeSight, Ritter has been a leading Sales Executive with a number of international organizations in the surveillance industry, including Intelligent Security Systems and Mobotix, one of the top four megapixel camera companies worldwide. In his role at Mobotix, he was responsible for their US market expansion which established the company as a key player in the US domestic market for high-resolution surveillance cameras, constructing both reseller and distribution channel models.

Norma Schiller, Global Accounts Manager

Norma Schiller has been promoted to Global Accounts Manager for the western U.S. region of Honeywell Systems, a division of Honeywell Security Group. Norma has 23 years of security industry experience in Sales, Sales Management and General Management. She has also attained Six Sigma Green Belt status and is an active member in ASIS. In her current role Norma will have a strong focus on both strategic corporate enterprise and critical infrastructure accounts such as airports, seaports, rail transit and energy firms. She will act as liaison with the company's marketing and engineering departments to ensure that Honeywell products and services align with the needs of end users and consultants in those markets.

Reinforcing a commitment to IP technologies, Norbain has announced the appointment of two new IP Business Development Managers.

With Paul Jones working in the North of the UK and Matthew Jones in the South, both Managers will be available to guide Norbain customers through the intricacies of IP surveillance technology. Their expertise in the provision of concept-through-to-completion IP video solutions will be backed by Norbain's fast and effective order processing, to provide added value for installers and end-users.

Working with new and existing customers, Paul and Matthew will be offering independent advice and depth of technical expertise across a range of multi-brand IP CCTV solutions, to advise on the best technology selection for each and every system component.
