Avigilon appointed Keith Marett as the Director of Marketing and Communications. With more than 15 years of experience executing national marketing campaigns for companies including Bell Canada, Vancity Credit Union, Suzuki, Starbucks, Okanagan Spring Brewery, Sleeman's, Canfor, TransLink, and the BC Government, Marett has joined Avigilon to build global awareness for Avigilon's HD surveillance solutions.

Before joining Avigilon, Marett was acting Director of Marketing communications at Bell Canada, where he was responsible for the company's US$80-million national wireless advertising campaign. While there, he was also responsible for ensuring continuity of brand and messaging across the entire company and throughout the company's extensive retail partner network. Prior to Bell, Marett was also an Account Manager at Grey Worldwide, a global advertising and marketing agency where he managed a number of high profile accounts including Vancity Credit Union, Suzuki, and Starbucks. In this position, Marett and his team helped Vancity Credit Union grow its membership base by almost 30 percent, nearly doubling the company's total assets.

Laurent Cremer, Executive Director

The Open Standard for Public Transport (OSPT) Alliance appointed Laurent Cremer as the organization's first Executive Director. A global business development executive with extensive experience in the technology and transit industries, Cremer will lead OSPT's push to establish the primary e-ticketing open security standard for next-generation transit fare collection systems.

Hervé Fages, Senior VP, Global Product Marketing

Pelco by Schneider Electric has promoted Hervé Fages as Senior VP, Global Product Marketing, for the Schneider Electric Buildings Business. Fages has been serving as VP, Global Product Marketing, Buildings Business for one year, and was previously Pelco Chief Marketing Officer.

In this new senior position, Fages is responsible for all global marketing activities for the Schneider Electric Buildings Business, including product management, marketing & communications, trade shows, and training. Fages reports directly to Dean Meyer, Executive VP, Buildings Business.

Additionally, Fages will act as the Site Executive for the Schneider Electric, Clovis, California facility. As Site Executive, Fages will serve as the point of contact for the local community and will communicate on behalf of the business with its Clovis campus employees.
