Evergreen Fire & Security (Evergreen), an integrator focused on delivering life safety and security solutions to high-security government installations, has been awarded the prime contract designation on a five-year, US$250 million maximum value contract to provide physical security and force protection services in an automated control systems environment for worldwide support of the Department of Defense (DoD) and key non-DoD Federal Government Agencies.
The program under contract, known as Electronic Security Systems V Restricted Suite, is managed and supported by the United States Army Corps of Engineers from the Electronic Security Center (ESC) based in Huntsville, Alabama. The mission of the ESC is to provide a wide range of electronic security system services to U.S. government agencies across the globe. These services are designed to include physical security, life safety, force protection, anti-terrorism and vulnerability reduction.
"Over the past ten years, the Evergreen team has gained significant experience providing a broad base of electronic security systems to operating locations within the DoD and the Federal Government," said John Burgess, President of Evergreen Fire & Security.
In addition to the USACE Prime Contractor award, Evergreen is also a key small business subcontractor on the Johnson Controls large business prime contracting team, which was awarded an ESS V IDIQ contract to support USACE in electronic security projects expected to total more than $650 million over five years.
