Through the partnership, Rolta will resell Augusta Systems middleware for use in security, defense and other geospatial applications where sensor integration and fusion are essential elements in providing situational awareness.

The reseller agreement follows prior collaborations between Augusta Systems and Rolta on international public safety and homeland security projects. Augusta Systems provides Rolta and its clients with a platform for integration and normalization of data, events and control functions from diverse devices, systems and networks, including those for public safety, port and border security and defense, such as cameras, VMS, threat-detection sensors, registration and tracking systems, emergency management communication systems, geographic information systems, alert and notification systems and others. The system also enables remote, localized event or policy-based processing of data and events. This technology pushes intelligence beyond the data center throughout the network infrastructure.
