Honeywell announced SureView Systems has joined the Honeywell Open Technology Alliance, a collaboration that allows Honeywell to work with other manufacturers to share and integrate technology using open architecture and standards.
Honeywell announced SureView Systems has joined the Honeywell Open Technology Alliance, a collaboration that allows Honeywell to work with other manufacturers to share and integrate technology using open architecture and standards.
The collaboration offers integration between Honeywell access control and the SureView software. SureView offers an additional level of security management to Honeywell platform, enabling video and access systems from various manufacturers to be displayed using a single GUI. This allows end users the ability to manage and respond to alarms and events from one location.
“Honeywell's video and alarm systems have been supported through SureView for many years, but integration provides the missing piece of the puzzle for central stations requiring a fully integrated managed access solution,” said Craig Evans, MD, SureView Systems.
“SureView is committed to supporting open architecture, and we're pleased to welcome them to the alliance,” said Don Roberts, Strategic Corporate Accounts, Honeywell Security Group. “The goal of the alliance is to give manufacturers, like SureView and their customers more choices when designing their security systems, and to make the integration of different technologies easier to manage.”
