Samsung Techwin Europe recruited Rene Reinhardt as Business Development Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Reinhardt has worked within the electronic security industry for eight years and was until recently CCTV PM for VTQ Videotronik where he was also responsible for promoting wireless systems.
Reinhardt will be responsible for developing relationships with key market players including consultants and end-users in order to identify new sales opportunities for Samsung's surveillance, IP video, access control, door entry and intruder alarm product ranges. He will also provide support on large projects.
Commenting on Reinhardt's appointment, Ralf Balzerowski, Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland Samsung Techwin Europe said: “This region is a very important market to Samsung and particularly so for the new IP/network-based products which we are launching during 2010. We are very pleased to have recruited an experienced security professional such as Rene Reinhardt to ensure that we offer our fast expanding list of customers in Germany and the surrounding countries.”
