Nedap Security Controller
The Nedap Security Controller is the first controller that can combine all security functions in one generic device. Instead of separate devices for access control, video storage, intrusion detection, PLC-functionality and intercom, the security controller combines these functions on one device. Advantages are significantly lower investments in hardware and installation, while providing more functionality and better, easier integration. Conventional systems have their own power supply, processor and memory. By combining these into one device, significant costs savings can be achieved. All relevant security aerials and sensors can be connected, which makes integration of functions far simpler, simultaneously enabling new types of solutions. A graphical configuration tool is used to link and connect the software components together for the security functions. Unlike conventional systems, the security controller executes decentralized security functions, without the intervention of a central server. The security controller will remain functioning, even in the event of sever or network failure.
