QNAP Security announced the successful integration of a series of JVC (JVC is Brand of JVCKENWOOD) network cameras with the VioStor NVR series. Users of JVC IP cameras now are able to adopt QNAP VioStor NVR series to establish a highly reliable network surveillance system.
QNAP VioStor NVR, available from 2-bay entry-level to 12-bay high-end models with 4 to 64 channels, features sophisticated hardware design and remarkable performance on video monitoring and Megapixel recording. The Linux-based standalone VioStor NVR offers great convenience in the system deployment and management with the intuitive administration interface, and supports multi-server monitoring to monitor up to 128 channels by adding additional VioStor NVR.
Other powerful surveillance features incorporated to fulfill comprehensive surveillance needs include multi-view playback, intelligent video analytics (IVA) for faster video retrieval, advanced event management, and real-time digital watermarking. The E-map function allows users to upload customized layout to help visualize the location of IP cameras, and facilitates immediate event management with the instant alert notifications.
"QNAP has been devoted to designing professional stand-alone NVR with the strength in storage devices, and closely working with IP camera manufacturers in order to provide high quality surveillance solutions to the market," said Kent Chung, Product Manager of QNAP Security. "JVC is one of the major IP camera brands in the surveillance market. We are pleased about the compatibility of VioStor NVR and JVC IP cameras to provide our users with greater flexibility when choosing a reliable IP surveillance system."
"We are glad to collaborate with QNAP Security for the system compatibility," commented Fedja Vehabovic, in charge of the European CCTV operation of JVC Professional Europe. "JVC provides complete line of full HD box, mini-dome, and dome security cameras. The combination of QNAP NVR and JVC IP cameras can carry out reliable and quality surveillance performance to fulfill users' surveillance needs in various industries," added Fedja.
