What is 960H?

The resolution of 960H is 960*576(pal) or 960*480(NTSC),mainly to enhance the horizontal resolution for D1(704*576).

TV system is mainly to PAL and NTSC,which adopt to CRT monitors,it is interlace scan and by vertical resolution.For the Vertical resolution,the limited lines is 625 tvl by 25fps,after the AD conversion and transmission losses, it can be 400-500 tvl, it is impossible to improve it.So we can enhance the image quality by Horizontal resolution.Now let me show you why will we use the 960H?
1-960H is more clear
Currently 700tvl cameras on the market are mainly used SONY Effio sensor, Effio sensor is for video surveillance cameras,which are developed by Sony, digital signal processor DSP provides high-definition picture quality for video, high signal to noise ratio SNR and high color ability to reproduce. sony Effio DSP support the NTSC standard of 480K pixel CCD, and 570K pixels CCD for PAL system. By matching 960H dedicated HAD-II and Exview HAD-II CCD photosensitive components can reach more than 650tvl of resolution levels, so for 540tvl and 420tvl camera, can provide a clearer picture screen, while its color signal processor provides the ideal concentration of brightness and color balance, noise suppression, wide dynamic range, low-light, color reproduction even better, more fit the actual application environment. In addition, Effio camera program in addition to the use of CCD and DSP mix, if with high definition high density translucent lens, horizontal resolution camera can achieve high 700-800TVL between lines, showing the 960H technology development space. There are several high-line camera on the market with the current three versions Effio-E (Standard Edition), Effio-P (WDR version), Effio-S (low-light version).

2-It is more realistic to show with 16:9 size
